My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
My kids and I were cruising the internet looking at possible projects cars.

the 8 y/o oldest daughter likes in this order.

Porsche 911 cabriolet
86 - 93 Mustang GT convertible
late 80's Toyota Celica convertible
Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible

(see a trend?)

the boy wants a power stroke dually 4x4

the 5 y/o middle girl ...... ready for this ......

Gen 3 extended cab 4x4 ....... as long as its blue ....

My 12 year old son wants to get a 70's Chevy Camaro to fix up.

My 14 year old daughter wants a Mustang, but that changes everyday.

I think the wishes of the 5 y/o will be the easiest to full fill.........

I din't even tell which i would prefer.... just showed her a pic of a 95 S10, 96 Tacoma, and a 97 supercab Ranger ....... all blue, she picked the Ranger ....

I've got a long wish list of project vehicles for myself... and some of them I already own. :tease:

I got a long list too .... top of that list is a 70 mustang fastback and tied with that is a 76 911 turbo......close second (but not as a project, as a complete daily driver) is a 93 911 carerra 4

i have too many projects already , lets see , here is a list

1. 97 Ranger Ex. Cab 4x4 - Red
2. 00 Ranger Ex. Cab 4x4 - Blue
3. 97 F-350 Dually 4x4 Powerstroke - Maroon
4. 82 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais ( limitd production car ) - White
5. 83 Chevy C-10 ( stepdads fathers truck ) - Blue
6. 84 Mustang LX convertible - Maroon
7. 72 Chevy C-10 SWB - Blue
8. 79 Honda CB750K - Black
9. 73 Honda CB350 - Green

and out of them only 5 run , the others are in various states of disassembly , the most i paid for any of them is $2500 , two i got for Free , and 1 isnt really mine , but i am the only one that takes care of it , i have way too many projects

Here are 2 projects, the 78 Pinto just rolled off the trailer this afternoon, found it by accident for 300.00, by accident I mean we weren't looking for any more vehicles, dang never say never.

the 66 Bronco is waiting for a more permenant shop for us to be able to give it a full off frame restoration.

Ha i totally have a 96 blue ranger ext. cab.....thats cool tell your daughter its a great truck!

well in her words ..... the Ranger is a prettier blue.......

The only project car I truly want is a 90-93 Mustang GT untouched. I have the bike I want so I am good in that department.

I am in the process of trying to find a Fairmont Futura for a project. Want to drop a 302 in it and show up all my WRX driving friends:D

Dang you Angie!!!! I want a Pinto!!!! is it running?

LOL, nope not yet. still have a painting project in the shop, Racing season is coming close and the driver/car we sponsor for free paint jobs still getting the going over. One project at a time.... LOL ;)

The great/neat thing about that old beast is we are 3rd owner, the guy I got it from still had the original owners sales reciept with the options the car was bought with written down from in 78 I thought that was a cool touch. this brat was stored in his dads garage/leanto for about 18 years. never turned over or anything. they parked it after the ignition blew on it and they just moved on to some other beasts, If the motor won't start it will be pulled and rebuilt. 2.8L

(oh edited here)... if you are looking for one I found this web site a couple days back they might have something in your area, there are all kinds of classified ads here.

And BDAB... I like your daughters thoughts... ""well in her words ..... the Ranger is a prettier blue....... "" LOL tooo funny :)

thanks for the chuckle
