programmer or k&n CAI

ive got a choice of one of the two, eith a super chips programmer or a CAI...im about to put 33x12.50 tires on so which one do u think will help my truck not be as sluggish?? i know theyll both help but which one would be better??
 
Probably the chip. I have both the Jet Chip and the K&N CAI on mine. The CAI really isnt going to do anything more than a tiny bit of throttle response and make it sound sweet. I know that these are supposedly most effective when used together, but I think if its one or the other, I'd get the chip.

programmer is definitely the better buy IMO

CAI from what i have been told by many gives you no advantages besides a pretty cool sound! and maybe minimal throttle response

Extremely minimal throttle response, and only when breaking from idle is it noticably smoother, like the engine doesnt have to surge waiting for air.
 
thnx...i think ive settled on the chip
