People I have talked to claimed 10-15 hp but I'm not sure how true that is. I had the proform rockers but I sent them back and got a set of cranes because they hit the valve cover. Also don't forget to check your push rod length after you install them. I had to get .050" long push rods with mine, which are 1.7 ratio.

FWIW, swapping from stock 1.6 non-roller rockers to 1.7 roller rockers on a Mopar Magnum V8 is a dyno proven 10hp at the wheels. Having them myself, I believe it. The difference in engine smoothness alone is well worth it.

Make sure they fit your heads before going too far with em.

I couldn't agree more, plus it makes the cam sound even nastier. All this talk about it makes me think I might just have to pull the cover off this weekend and drive it a little.

Good luck with them proform rockers. I have heard alot of bad stories on them by guys who have run them. I would inspect each one very well before I installed them. Do a check on them and check out the reviews for yourself. I have been running cranes for years with no problems. I have been using Ford racing and the Scorpions for the last 4 years with with no problems with them either.

As a potential future rocker upgrader, how would they might not fit the heads?

There are three types of rockers for SBF heads . First are the non rail, pushrod guided rockers. Then the 66-77 rail rockers, followed by the 78-2001 pedestal rockers.

Oh, I was hoping it wasn't because of the E6's natural dislike of anything too wild with anything cam related. :yahoo:
