Problem with new head


If you can find an intake manifold for it, it should work, but you would have to mount the ignition module somewhere (using only the 3 screws that it is mounted with originally, and it needs to be somewhat of a heat sink, and the plate has to be grounded... I've found all of that out the hard way, it's why my truck rolled 6 years ago). If you have a tach and want to keep it working, splice the two coil outputs together keeping the two drivers together (the outside pins are the drivers, each coil pack has two sections one for #1 and #4 cylinder and the other for #2 and #3) and just cap off the center wire.

Okay sounds good, i see it the D port design i beed to get for the head, do you know if the truck would run funny or anything (loss horsepower or fuel not like i care im not drag racing the truck or looking to break 40mpg lol. Also do you mind if i message you when i start the process you have alot of knowledge and i wouldnt mind the help lol if you dont mind.
 
Just find a proper early 8 plug head. It will be a lot easier. Where are you located?

St Petersburg Fl i cant find one i can get one for 400$ but i don't want to spend that and the ones i have gotten has been cracked and unrepairable and im not taking another chance.
