hi, im new on here, i am just trying to find some help figuring out when i put my truck in 4 wheel drive it jerks the steering wheel back and forth so bad i can't even use it in the winter. does anyone know what the problem may be. my thought was the u-joints are bad.

You need some more info on your truck, is it manual Tcase, manual or auto hubs, how many miles, do you use it for offroad??

By your decription of what it does while you are driving it in 4 wheel drive....I'd say you have the knuckle u-joints out of it.

Sounds like one of the front axle u-joints is seized up.
