:icon_thumby::icon_confused:ok so i got the motor in there is noooo clearance for the rad let alone a fan, so im gessing either get a rad from a explorer or i was thinking maybe putting my rad tward the front a little more and maybe gettin the brackets and water pump and such off a explorer to make room, i damn near have the motor all the way back i had to pound a little bit on the fire wall to make room for the air injection pipe deal and thats with a 3" body lift. now i dont think the 4.0 rad will work with the flx-40 fan what do u think the best route would be? also does the oil relocation look like its faceing the right way?

Nearly all of us tucked the radiator up inside the support to gain clearance. Only those with the Explorer or 94-95 Stang front dress didn't require this. And on the Thermactor air pipe, if you'll get one from an Econoline van, you'll gain some room around the A/C box, as this pipe doesn't wrap around the right valve cover, the hose connection for it is in back of the intake in the middle. You'd also better connect the oil lines first before putting the engine back in place.

i havnt got the lines made up yet not to sure were to put the rest of the kit yet.. yeah it looks like im gonna have to tuck it in not a problem though, thanks for the pic sloue.. baddad ive been reading up on a lot of old threads trying to find info on eerything looks like your a pro at doing this swap

No, not a pro, I did my swap 8 years ago. Took me 4 years of playing with it to perfect it. It's since been retired to occasional work truck duty.

does anyone use the NP208 transfor case? when i was puttin up the tranny with the transfor case on it seams like its a little bit to close to the driver side fram? would this case work or do i need the NP205? if only the mustang mounts wouldnt put the engine up so high i could of tucked it back farther. Also i was thinking about getting the brackets of a later model mustang for better clearence but my question is is the crank pully smaller also or do i have to change out the harmonic balancer too? thanks your all your help!
