Probably in over my head B5000 project

Hey folks! I picked up my 3rd "Ranger" a few months back. Its a 99 B2500. It was practically a freebie but the engine was partially disassembled and it could use a little love. My plan is to swap in a 5.0. I managed to pick up a running, driving 97 Explorer for relatively cheap. I know I'll need special plates made for the motor mounts and that the fuel rail will need to be swapped out for a newer one. I need to do a little research on getting the VSS differences figured out. This wont be my DD so I should be able to take my time on it.
