Probably a dumb exhaust question but...

I had a 95 B2300 2.3 and had put a Magnaflow high flow cat with a Flowmaster mufffler on it. Sounded pretty good and seemed to run good as well. I recently got a '02 Ranger 2.3 that has the dual cat, resonator, and a HUGE stock muffler. What are the advantages/disadvantages of switching the Ranger to the same setup? Will there be any backpressure, fuel economy, or power issues? The Mazda didn't have nearly as much to the exhaust as the Ranger.

Sorry for the noob question.
Tom.

mine has no issues..i just got more power out of it..
