I was in searching the web today for ford news in my advanced mircosoft esentials class, and to my suprise the media.ford.com front page was filled with ALL NEW ranger news. I read and it seems like they're adding alot of upgrades. It seems its getting closer to having all the features of the fullsizes'. Like the Locking differential. they added new diesels too! I was so excited to see all of this......But then i realized, Its not coming over to the us it seems like the new ranger is already getting alot of praise, if only......

Rotten bastards... They should at least build the F-100. That POS chebby is building will likely snag a lot of truck business away from Ford. They should have a small or mid-sized choice for us. I bought an ecoboost this year but I don't love it like I did my Ranger. Its a fancy land-yacht and thats all.

This has been brought up way to often on this site. We all know about it and the Ranger is gone from the US soil. Too bad, so sad. Ford looses again in the USA. I know a lot of people who would buy one...I would!!!!!!!

I use to make a living delivering GM parts. Loved sitting on the dock at the Ft Wayne truck plant with my FORD Racing hat on.

yes its very dissapointing not to see ANY vehicle in the midsize truck class. And i wasn't trying to bring up an often talked about subject, i'm just saying that theres new news that the ranger is receiving some pretty nice upgrades, that we won't be able to recieve

That ain't nothing, Pal. I have a brother-in-law that works for Ford up in Ohio and builds Fords. He is on his 30th year there. He has never owned a Ford. He drives a 4 door 4x4 Dakota and also has a 2008 Rubicon Jeep. His wife bought her first Ford a few years back. She bought a used two year old Sport Trac that had 10,000 miles on it. She hates it really bad. She calls it her little POS.It stranded her a few times...gas pump went out at 11,000 and then the right front wheel came loose due to a ball joint failing at 13,000 miles. Then the radiator bursted in the summer on vacation at 14,000. Even her tag has POS on it. She somehow got that by when she had a custom plate made for her.

Was just saying, lots of GM die hards here. My family is mostly GM, my dad works there and has nothing but Chevy is his drive way. But they work fine, and that's what counts. I am glad that he has something dependable, and I am sure he wonders why I drive Fords.
