My dad and i have built up a 7 class ranger that i race. So I am hoping to use it to pre-run the courses before we race on it. Here is a pic of the race truck.

Bravo to you sir. Finally, someone with a so-called "prerunner".....that's not just a lifted 2wd! It's actually being used as a prerunner!!!

nice race truck too man!

We made our own custom beams which are 3" wider on each side, adn have 5 degrees of camber built into them. Dual Fox shocks along with fabtech f-150 springs up front. We are on a budget, so we make everythng in house.

Thank you for the comment. I do really plan on actually using my truck as a prerunner, not just a street queen. It still needs some work, but hopefully next year we can start prerunning with it.

do you have any front pics? I'd like to see what the track looks like wided 3" on each side. Just curious is all...

Sure would like to see that tiregate...

Ill take some pics of the front suspension of the race truck, and the tiregate i made. It only cost me about $100 worth of steel and my time. A lot cheaper than the ones online for $500+.

Here is the tiregate I made, and i am going to take the front end pics as soon as i pull it out of the garage.

Just out of curiosity, how much lift are those springs for on your race truck? I thought about picking up a 2wd just for the same reasons. I live in Central-Oregon, and it would be nice to have a 2wd for the summer time. I like to run the roads flat-out, and I don't need the weight of all the 4wd crap. My 4wd is for the snow, rocks, and mud.

The Top spring of the pack is out of an F-150 1/2 ton, and the rest of the springs are an older Deaver pack that we had. The top spring was bent up and warn out, so we just replaced the top one with the F-150 Spring, and left the rest Deaver. I told you we were on a budget HAHA :)

how much travel does the race truck have?
i picked this up for a DD/prerunner.

The front of the truck has about 10" of travel, and the rear has about 14"
