Dude, I started building my truck when I was 17. Paid 8,500 in cash during a blizzard. Learned to wrench by throwing a 3" body lift on, and basic work. Bent a rear axle shaft and housing and swapped in an exploder 8.8". Got sick of the A arm and torched the front end and threw in a solid axle with gobs and gobs of travel out of leaf springs. Now I'm 19, a very confident welder, decent fabricator when I'm sober, still pretty good drunk, and very auto-savy.

What you did made Henry Ford wanna come back as a Zombie and skull **** you in the eye before he ate your brains. He would have gone home hungry. It's obvious you have the internet, so what kept you from actually reading up a little bit? Ya know, learning about triangles, and that the same pipe my shit and your mom's tampons flow through will not save your life. Jesus Christ dude. dude i i got the truck at a blow out sale for $2000 cuz the chassis was gone.. i dont give a shit about the $2000 truck..i learned how to weld so that will pay for its self while im building my new truck. and as for me owning the truck here is pics

number 1: For a truck that old, the chassis is not 'gone'. Sure...a shackle or spring hanger might be toast/rusted through, but not the entire chassis.

number 2: why the hell did you use galvanized? and most importantly, why do you call that a 'cage'?

number 3: what are you asking for the truck? I read 12.5k?

number 4: What is a 'chassis drop'? Care to even answer that? Or do you pick and choose things to answer?

and no it do not make me feel horrible at all . i learned on a a 2001 ranger how to to weld. im really not a ass hole and and as the douche bag buddy'sb4 likes to say an idiot if there was anything i could do to help wit someones project id do my best to help. but when its all said and done it none of anyones business what i do wit my money and my truck and what u use to learn.

I've seen hillbilly shit before. I've done plenty. I used rachet straps to hold my rag joint together when I sheared the bolts holding my steering column in.

But your shit just looks dangerous man. I beg you not to sell it to some young dumb kid who thinks that shit is cool. Part it, use what you can, just make sure it's not in one piece when it leaves your dojo of molestation.

. no it really was, in newfoundland more in my area being vary close to the ocean it really take a tole on cars and truck , in the winter alot of salt bes used on the roads to cut down on ice. the chassis was GONE.. every cross member was gone and the only piece of chassis i could keep was the vary front and even the bottom of that had to be rebuilt and the mounts for the a arms has to be remade cuz i could stick a screw driver through it. and the galv tubbing , like i said i wasnts trying to build anything to perform and that was cheep so i got that to just get a lil used to working and fitting tubbing. and the "chassis drop" lol it was just a name i put in it i didint know what else to call it, the two parts where the chassis kick up in the front and rear was taken out by putting the straight piece in .

NO $12500 is what buddy's b4 wanted for his truck . witch in newfoundland is way over priced!!! i was only looking for 2000 ono just to pay for the truck again
