Powerwheels

i never had a powerwheel....argh!!!!!! i have a special hatred saved in my heart for all that did lol

I have a very hard time believing that, I know how hard it was to push my jeep up or down my driveway(2* slope), there is no way the plastic wheels would not spin doing that, nor would the plastic frame hold up.

Fake or not, it's cool memories for the kids... I might have to do that one day

I rewired one for my boss once because the batteries were shot, wanted me to install a small tractor battery and I put it under the seat. Had to wire it in "high" all of the time (low is 6v parallel and high is 12v series, single battery would short in low), but that thing was nuts once said and done. LOL, not sure how long the motors lasted, but that thing was a burn out machine.

x2. I had an "overprotective" mother that thought they were dangerous :icon_rofl:. But 10 years later my baby brother (10 years younger than me) got a go-cart with an 18horse B&S engine. That thing would go 35-40 in the snap of a finger. And yet somehow it wasn't as dangerous as a powerwheels :icon_confused:

I can tell you this right now, theres no way a "normal" powerwheels anything would pull a vehicle!!! My kids has an PW Artic cat and my son found out how to do burn outs in the drive way cause the cheap plastic wheels doesnt get any traction. And it cant haul a 50# load with only one of my kids driving it (think I bent the rear axle or something, sags just a bit in the back, or could be normal). I've been wanting to wire a 12v motorcycle/mower battery to theirs and install headlights, but not sure how to. But I have seen videos of kids mudding in these things like an actual truck would!
