Both of my power windows in my 1989 Ranger single cab do not work, however:
-my window motors both turn, I can hear them spinning, and they sound strong.
-my driver's side window will go down all the way with no issues, but not up. When I push the switch for them to go up, the motor spins, so that tells me that the switch and motor are fine.
I'm thinking that it might be the little plastic gears, and will probably order a gear kit, but I'm posting to make sure nobody else has any ideas on what it might be. Do you all agree with my diagnosis?
