power steering return line

I'm going crazy can't get the return line back on. I'm getting a new one,just not sure why the old one would not go back on. I have a 2.3 and it would hit the serpentine belt no matter what I did. I need a photo or some idea what I'm doing wrong.Thanks for any help.

It came off, it should go back on.

Is the belt on in the correct orientation?

I got it. I think it got a little twisted. The new one needed to be pulled a bit. Funny it was driving me nuts. lol
