power steering pump

I was rollin my truck around in the garage, and every time I would turn the tires, power steering fluid would come out of the top of the resivoir, it wouls squeze up through the lid. Does anybody know why this would happen?

With the vehicle not running, this is completely normal.

ok thanks, I'm glad it's not broken. It seems kinda wierd though, and kinda sucks. oh well.
