My power steering is whining again...I put fluid in it a few days ago and it went away, and now the fluid level's dropped and the whine is back. What's the best route to take on this? Would it be easier/cheaper to buy a rebuild kit from Pro Steering or would it be easier to get a rebuilt pump from autozone or something? I guess the rebuild kit would be cheaper but how difficult is it to do?

Sounds like you are answering your own question. If the pump is fine when it is filled it is prob not the pump. Where is the fluid going. Find the leak and fix it. I don't know if you have rack and pinion if you do somtimes they leak into the bellows and you don't notice it.

Stay away from autozone junk! And you have a leak somewhere... Try to find it. If the fluid is low... Its going somewhere. And he doesnt have a rack and pinion.... You have a steering box.
