Power Steering Pump Idler

I have a 2.3 litre powered 1993 Ford Ranger. I am replacing the power steering with a manual box (they fit trucks up to 97') and am looking for an idler pulley to replace the power steering pump with so I can keep the A/C. I am wondering if anything is readily available otherwise I will have to get an assembly machined. I am wondering if the brackets off an 83' to 88' ranger would work? I haven't seen one in awhile so I can't remember if they made any with A/C and a manual steering box. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

get a shorter belt?

Shorter belt won't work. The A/C is above the power steering pump. You need a pulley in place of the power steering pump in order to keep the A/C and drive the water pump. I can get a belt no problem for a non A/C, power steering truck. I am going to disassemble a pump and see what is there. I think the shaft is supported by two forward bearings, I should be able to eliminate the impeller and any excess housing.

what exactly is the reason you want to eliminate your power steering?

More room in the engine cockpit and one less thing to break down. The KISS rule. Still looking for a solution without going to a machine shop.
