Guys I need urgent help. I was trying to replace the pressure hose of my 1985 ranger 2.8 and instead of taking the small nut I ended up removing the big one :(
Now I have cylinder kind of thing which is not allowing me to put the nut back. Its hard and not sliding in. I have tried pushing it in but with no luck.

I am putting a picture to show what I am talking about.

I need help :(

ouch.

take the large nut off of the line, take a screwdriver/ allen wrench or some other metal rod tht you can put pressure on and put the nut over it. with one hand push hard on the screwdriver to depress teh piston and with theo other hand start the nut.

Hope that helps, and hope you have enough room to do it.

if all else fails, cuss it out. won't fix it but might make you feel better :)

GFL man, there is a heavy-ass spring in there.
