Power steering leak

Matt here. I am having a problem with my h/p hose leaking were it connects to the pump. The gasket that goes in there is bad and I cant find another one anywhere. so I was wanting to know where can I get one with out having to buy a new line. Are could I just put Teflon tape around it and that would seal it. Are an ideal of what else might would work.


I replaced the line before thinking it was leaking but it was the steering box. so when I took the hose back off to pull it out it was useless so I put a rubber o-ring around it and it lasted for about 2 months but now it just blows em.

Rubber is no good for oil contact, as much as I dont like them go to a napa store tell them what your looking for and they should break out a big box with an assortment of orings for you application, neoprene, or viatar

You can apply little amount of silicone gasket sealer around the thread.
