I can't honestly say I have one certain "Favorite". It depends on what I'm doing at the time, and what tools are being used.
I have a favorite guitar, and a favorite bass.....both "tools" to make music (aka "noise")....
Even in a vehicular sense, I couldn't say my Ranger is my "favorite". I bought it out of medical necessity (ease of getting in and out). It does come in handy to haul stuff, of course. All 3 vehicles (Ranger, Crown Vic PI, CJ-7) serve varying needs, at varying times of the year.
I guess, in a way, all my tools are "favorites".....because they're mine!
