I was working on wiring up my cab visor lights this morning, just running a ground underneath the dash, and hot to the fuse panel, just tie it into the instrument panel/parking or running lights fuse. Well it didn't work out so well, cause there was a short in the wires were they came in through the roof, and when i went to push the fuse back in with the terminal in there, it sparked and blew the fuse. Well no big deal i thought i'll just stick another one in, but this time around i didnt hook the terminal for my positive from the visor lights in, so just the fuse, like normal, and when i pull out the switch i have no lights, nothing. I have headlights, cause thats seperate, but no panel, parking, or brake running lights....The fuse is good, i didn't blow the relay for the fuse panel either, so where do i look next?

Check to see if there's power going into the light switch itself.
