Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out whether to purchase the part I need or if I can just have one made. The part is a positive battery cable assembly that goes from the battery to the starter, the alternator, the relay and the wiring harness on a 93 Ranger. Ford has the part for $180 bucks...is there a way to just make the cable? FYI..the mechanic that was referred by an acquaintance came out and pulled off the cable...then he left and never came back...so we don't have the cable to use as a reference. I've called over 100 junkyards...literally! and nobody seems to have the cable....Thank you for any suggestions.....
I forgot to add that it's a 4 cyl....

Welcome to TRS. A reputable starter/alternator rebuilder should be able to fabricate one for you-
