I just got the extended cab off of a 98 & the drivers side window was all ready sold. Is there a factory kit available or after market kit to make the extended cab side windows pop out?

I understand that the 83-92 Rangers had an option for pop outs as well as the 99+,would either work on the 98 cab?

I had a 94 with pop outs. As for a kit,I'm not sure

I still have the pop out windows from my 92 that I junked. I believe they are the same through the years.

My 93 has pop outs, try looking at your local pick-n-npull type place.

i'll check the few pick & pull type yards in a few weeks , Thanks guys

Yeah, I've always wanted pop-outs for my 98. I don't think they were an option, but it'd be nice to know whether they can be bought or not.

updates to flip out extended side glass. The cabs already have the holes for the hinges which are only spring steel & pop riveted to the body & the latch it self is attached to the cab by means of clip nuts.

The only items to convert to pop outs are the glass which has 3 holes in each for the hinges & the latch, the 2 torx head screws that hold the latch to the body & the clip nuts for each screw. 2 spring steel hinges for each window & 2 rivets for each hinge & of coarse the gaskets for the sealing of the windows.

I got both gaskets, everything for the passenger side & the hinges for the drivers side from pick a part yard for $16.40.

will be getting drivers side glass & attaching hardware & latch sent to me from a C/L posting in neighboring state for $25 shipped.

pretty damn good as the pop out glass alone is over $500 each from the dealer ship & the latches are discontinued ,but the latches are the same all the ways back to 1986, so the spring steel hinges may be also.

Side glass is tempered so the stationary glass CANT be drilled for holes.

according to the dealership they have been an option for every extended cab Ranger ever built even the four door version
