how's it going people, been a while since i visited ye olde ranger station. since my last visit I have traded up from a '91 std. cab 2.3 5 speed(ugly, but reliable) to a 99 ext. cab 3.0 auto. Much more comfortable but high mileage. So things are in need of reconditioning or repair. I just replaced the timing cover and water pump gaskets along with front crank seal because of a leak the previous owner thought it best to use a leak sealer to fix. Did I mention that the radiator blew one of its plastic tanks off ? I think it had something to do with the previous "repair" Anyway short story long, thats all been corrected and thankfully, no leaks. On to the matter at hand, when I start the vehicle, or try to start the vehicle it sputters and bucks and stalls. so I start it again and playing with the gas pedal in between bucks I manage to get the rpm's up for 20 or 30 seconds and everything is returns to normal and away we go. I believe the problem to be one of the many sensors between the air box and intake manifold. hopefully, someone here has seen and corrected this problem before, so, thank you in advance for any and all help.
