Ok, I picked up a 9" out of a full size Bronco. I was originally planning on doing a gear swap and converting to disc brakes..

Then I thought to myself.. It would be nice to have a full floater..

But lets face it, spending 2000 on hubs, axles and brakes is out of the question..

I started looking into a "poor man" setup.. Which uses D44 snouts on the outside of a 9" housing. Anyone done it? I need help.. I know Dutchman will make an axle set for cheap..

Whats the spline on D44 outers? anyone know the shaft diameter?

not sure if thats good or not. its alot of money for sure. whats the rate of a full float 14bolt all built up to the same or better then the 9in.
