Poor Man's Forced Inuction

shhh... don't let that idea get out to the honda owners, then they'll think that they can start keeping up with traffic around here. :icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

I'll race you in my wife's Honda Pilot. It keeps up with traffic.

The leaf blower thing is stupid. At 8psi of boost, the boost tube would be about 200F--dip your hand in boiling water to savor that sensation. I have a McCullough leaf blower, gas powered big bastard, and I have never felt any heat on it. It's not designed to compress air--it's entirely the wrong type of fan. It would be like using a boat propeller on an airplane. The leaf blower blades would cavitate if you tried to load them up with air pressure. It would not be as dramatic as an overloaded boat prop because air is 1/100 the density, but the effect would be the same--they wouldn't do shit.

This idea sucks. It's too bad it isn't dangerous. If it were dangerous, the people who tried it would be weeded out of the gene pool.
