Ponies in the smokies svt ranger prototype


So from what I gathered ford made 2 of them one step side and the other not.

If you think about it if it was a 98ish that would have been extra really.... all my 98"s regardless of make still had cassette.

Good catch - I didn't notice that the Motor Trend article I linked showed a regular bed vs the flare side on the one you photographed. The interiors appear identical.
 
I am curious what the DN101 sport wagon they wanted to develop also was. As in the one page posted.

When I typed DN101 sport wagon in google images I got the Taurus wagon I gotta say a v8 Taurus wagon would have been cool with a manual trans and awd of course. (if thats what they were thinking based on the SHO of the time)
