two months ago me and my neighbor were riding our atvs down a farm road all dirt and mud no pavement and a sheriff saw us and we knew the guy who owned the land and have his number and he knows we ride down the roads all the time but doesnt care as long as we watch to make sure no one else drives down the roads and tears up his fields and as long as we dont tear anything up he could care less so this cocky sheriff follows us and stops us and tell us that we are on private property and we werent allowed to be there and he didnt even know the guy who owned the property and he wrote us tickets for riding non legal vehicles on a public road so we had to go to the county court house we saw the judge he went before me and the man who owned the land was there at both of our trials and the deputy that wrote us the tickets was there and i have no idea what he was doing in my friends trial but in mine he was arguing with the judge,me,the owner of the property and was chaning his story every few minutes and had a bad attitude the entire time. from what i have seen from that and read from yalls stories is that MOST cops were the guys in highschool that got bullied and wanted to become a cop so they could get payback on all the guys who mistreated them so many years ago and another part of the cops have a God complex and think they are above the law hence why you see them going over the speed limit running red lights yielding at stop signs and rideing peoples bumpers cause they think its ok for them but when they see someone else do it they get pissed. or when they see a car full of young guys they think they are up to no good cause they are laughing having a good time so they think they are drunk. for example sum guys and me were rideing down a country back road not drunk just having a good time we werent speeding and we stoped at all signs and lights. the only thing he had on us were we were dippin and all of us were under 18 and in alabama you have to be 19 to buy dip or ciggs but we got pulled over and we all had to do a breath test and soberity test and when we were all showed we were clean he got pissed and started to go through the truck lookin for weed or durgs or whatever we had nothing to hide cept dip cans but hell you could see those in our back pockets and spit bottles in our hands and after about an hour or two of going through the truck and running our backgrounds he found nothing and lets us go and told us we would be arrested if he stoped us again all i can say is wow what a dick i know several cops 5 or 6 live in my neighbor hood i know one personally and he is a nice guy he has stoped me before to talk and catch up and my dad was a cop i have respect for them till they show me direspect then my attitude will change real quick

DUI while riding his HORSE home from the bar...

Horses generall know how to get home.

So riding your horse drunk the most dangerous thing is you
might pass out, fall off and break your silly neck...

what I really want are the new pictogram signs where in
addition to the words "Danger Mines" it shows a dismembered
stick figuire superimposed on an explosion

They would fit well with my doormat that says "Go Away!"

sounds like my theory on engineers. They were the guys we were pushing around in high school, now they design the cars to be hard to work on, that's their payback.

I am working on my electronics and communications engineering degree and I was never picked on. You just find something you like and run with it. I found out what I wanted to do with myself while I was in the AF. Now I am just looking for a place to call home until I retire.

Please do us all a favor and whatever you end up designing, use the KISS method, and make it easy to figure out what's wrong when in breaks!

Remember: A good engineer can design something complex and make it work, but a GREAT one can come up with a simpler and better solution.

I was in the military and they operated on the KISS principle. My job was very very technical but I could train a monkey how to do it. It is all about making sure interface descriptions are accurate as well as the documentation side. You always leave room for growth but make it extremely simple.

ive been pulled over multiple times for going 4 wheeling in places im not supposed to ( favourite was next to a wendys with an empty lot next to it full of mud) and every time we respect the cops never been ticketed and end up talking to the cops about trucks till they get another call. i rolled my truck a couple weeks ago on the way to work and the cop didnt even ask me one question just wrote the reprt and went on his way. i didnt get any charges. then while i was working i was in the company caravan heading down a dirt road and a cop passed me going the other way. i guess he wanted to stop me (im assuming cause the vans coverd in a wrap for the company and they love to ticket anyone in a company vehicle) i was doing 10 under the speed limit cause i cant afford to get another point on my liscense i have 3 if i get 4 i lose my job. but anyways the cop slams on the breaks cranks the wheel (while doing like 50 still) and puts himself into the ditch... ive never seen anything more funny in my life.
