My biggest problem with these lights is the need to drill a hole through the metal A pillar. That pretty much makes this an irreversible install...and one that if done wrong would really put you in a bind. I hod one on my F350 phone company truck and it was invaluable for looking up at aerial wires and poles at night but other than being an asshole to other drivers I don't know why you would want one on your private vehicle.
Get one of those handheld lights that they sell at Bass Pro that plug into the lighter socket...they come in outouts up to like a billion candlepower and are a a lot cheaper than what you're talking about.
