I can't get my check engine light off. I keep getting the po443 code and I even replaced the solenoid I also check for voltage in the connector that goes into the solenoid and got no power from it what would be the next step? It's a 97 ranger 2.3l

Check the wire from the PCM to the solenoid. I worked on a Ranger with the same problem. The wire from the PCM to the solenoid was good, the problem was with the connection to the PCM. I put some dielectric grease on the connector then plugged in and removed the PCM connector a few times to clean the small contacts. It has been fine ever since.
