how hard was it to wire these lights up

Just wired them like trailer lights off the 4 flat.

Thanks Crawlin.

I snapped a few pics of my switch panel. The buttons are all push on push again to turn off.

I am forsure stealing this idea if it's alright with you! :icon_thumby: That's a sweet place to mount your switches, I'm impressed!

Edit: That's the conversion plate for an aftermarket deck right? Did you just cut out the hole part of it and mount the plastic plate to it?

I just cut the cuby hole out and mounted my switch panel over it. I used some extra screws and caps that I had left over from my gauge pod. The caps over the screws give it a nice clean look.

i am probably gonna steal the switch idea too , and how did you figure out where wxactly to cut the hole in your floor for the t-case shifter ? and do you have a pic of how you rewired it from electric to manual shift t case ?

I removed the plate in the floor and measured where the tcase shifter was in relation to the four bolts that hold the plate on. Then I cut a 1.25" X 4" hole.

There are pics a couple pages back on pg 9 that show which wires I used. Just cut them and connect the wires from the cluster to the wires on the tcase.

I decided to spray all the salt residue off the truck, an when I came out like 2 hrs later I found this. Apparently when I power washed the wheels some water got under the covers and froze which split the covers.:annoyed:

So while I had the lug nuts off to replace them I noticed the front rotors seemed a little loose. I pulled the hubs off to find that the spindle nuts had backed off a little.(no big surprise it has been 10,000 miles since I put the new bearings in). I was tired of fighting the stupid little nub on the lock washer, so I welded a little on the end of the nub and filled it square. Now it sits down in the key-way with no worries of it slipping out when I tighten the outer nut.

We had a little snow storm and my boss asked me to plow the lot at work, but it was 10 degrees and the F-350 (diesel) hasnt been started in a couple weeks and I didnt have time to wait on the block heater to do its job so I improvised.
I am surprised how well it pulled and that I could stop on a dime. The Bobcat weighs more than the truck and the trailer weighs another 1500.lol It hardly made the truck squat, gotta love those Chevy leaves.

Another fog light burnt out so I decided to go another route this time. They are low wattage yellow bulbs. I like the look, I wish the yellow was deeper but I cant complain since both bulbs were less than 10 bucks.

When I fixed the cabmounts a while back it raised the rear of the cab like .25-.50 so I had to shim the front of the bed up to make the body lines match, but I was too lazy to shim the rear of the bed so it looks like it is tilted back a little.lol
