Well done. You certainly haven’t been bored. It is crazy to think normal use could break a Dana 80 axle shaft. And do you have to get a CDL now since your dually can pull some crazy weight?

It's Ohio...we don't enforce rules like that even if they existed.lol

Truck still says 10k on the door sticker, so that's what matters anyway

did you have that low rider near coshocton today?(??not sure i spelled that right??) i was looking at some tires and seen an old ford like that haulin ass on 36...

We just bought it and drove it home with no bed. The 7.3 drowned it out I guess.

Not me, my dually is sitting until I put the driveshaft back in (finally got it balanced)

E8AZ 5422OKS1-A?

I suddenly have a strong desire to put power locks in my '85...never seen such a thing before. A search with the number I think I see turned up nothing. I tried E8AZ 5422OKST-A with the same result.

It took me three kits to get one complete working set up.lol. The batteries are getting old and corroding the remotes

Thanks for the pic, they don't show it fitting a first gen so that kind of takes care of that. Not sure what it would take to adapt it.

Pretty freaking cool kit though :icon_thumby:

It would work, it has diagrams for both 12v control and ground control locks

I did this briefly on my 87. I took the RAP module and relay pack out of a late 90s Taurus or Explorer, I don't remember which. I wired it up so the relay pack on the module took the place of the stock relays for 1st get locks.

The only two things I never got figured out real well was new remote programming, and where to put the stinking module. It didn't like being under the hood near the location of the factor relays, and cooked pretty quickly. But it did work for a while. I'd try again on the B2 where there is more space inside, but those lock actuators are wonky.

Had good time out at the TRS 20th! Wish I could have stayed all weekend, but unfortunately adulting gets in the way sometimes
