so im getting new spark plug wires. should i go motorcraft, or will an aftermarket set do? I can get an autolite set or a napa set for about $30, motorcrafts will set me back about $55. would this be worth it, or will i be fine with the aftermarket ones? thanks

The wires? you can use the napa ones any wire will be fine. I run the napa ones the 8mm Beldins or whatever. Look cool and work fine.

With plugs I would say run the Autolites because they seem to work best for rangers.

I prefer upgraded replacement parts to oem when I change them, but to answer your question, yes, any plug wire will work.

Autolite DP :icon_thumby: Any wire, just not the super cheapies, thats what i use and have no prob.

I already replaced the plugs, went with motorcraft double platinums. Still misfiring like crazy so i figure wires are next. I think im gonna go with ones from napa, theyre about $25 less than motorcraft, and it sounds like they should work fine. thanks for the input
