So after 150k or so, the OEM plug wire loom dry rotted on the passenger side while on a country road, letting the wire droop on the exhaust manifold, which damaged the wire beyond repair. I ran a short cheapo temporarily to get to and from work, so all 6 would fire. I finally got new Bosch wires installed. Afterwards noticed the engine smoothed out substantially. HWY mileage went from 21.8 to 25.8. These are some serious gains I was not expecting. I know this is just a typical tune up item, but was not expecting this... :headbang:

Imagine what you'll get when you finish then tune-up!!!

well i did plugs, filters, etc. was going to do O2 sensor, till I realized there's 4! WTF?

The two upstream sensors are the HEGO's, and the two downstream (after the catalysts) are just monitors.

hmm, so only need to buy two... that's still $100. Guess I'll start saving.
