I have a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT. The speedometer, gas, and temp gauges are not working. Rpm gauges sometimes goes erratic. I need info on how to fix these problems. ASAP

Sounds like you have a wire shorted out somewhere possibly. The guys on this forum will lead you in the right direction

I understand that it shoud be a wire for the gas and temp gauge, but the speedometer is run by a cable that plugs into tranmission. I cant find anything wrong with it????

I'm not sure about the speedo, but all else would be run by 12v. Did you check the fuse for the instrument panel by chance? Other than a blown fuse or shorted wire, I'm not sure what to suggest. Good luck, I hope you get it figured out quickly!
