I have a 1992 Ford ranger. It’s an automatic with the A4ld transmission. The transmission has had a full rebuild. Including the vacuum module on the side of transmission. It will shift into first and second great if I do it manually. But will not shift out of first on its own. Can anyone give me an idea of where to look?

Does it have vacuum to the side of the tranny when the engine is idling?

Hmmm... I just seen that he posted this twice. Because I said pretty much the same thing in his other post.

I'm moving this one to the transmission section... and will delete the duplicate post in the 4.0L section.

@Rangerdanger128 Really no need to post the same question more then once... just let it soak for a bit. Nobody here gets paid to answer your questions... we just like to help folks out and sometimes it takes a bit to get some answers.
