Was installing a tach on my truck and apparently disconnected my aftermarket radios power cord. But I can't get behind the dash panel to get to the wires to fix it. :bawling:

Just take the dash and valance off. That should give you some access. Good luck!

How? I've looked and don't see a whole lot and I Really don't want to break anything. More.

Lol I tried my little brother but he said he won't help.
Know how to remove the wood grain lookin thing at the bottom?

Lol well thanks for the info, I got it all apart, and then I realized I didn't had to.
So here's what happened......
Got a tach this morning and was going about installing, with no problems....
I was getting it all mounted up and getting the wires were they should, all hidden away, when I get the bright idea, hey let's listen to the radio. So im playing the radio, and decide the hole that was already there were I was gonna mount the tach, the hole wasn't quite big enough. So I took a drill and bit and started drillin out the hole, and the hole sparked. So I thought I broke the power wire and then began dismantling the dash trying the wire I broke. Spent a couple hours trying to figure out how to get the dash apart, dad gets home putts around for a minute, says he fixed. And I was like how the heck did you do it?? He says
You blew a fuse.
DAMN IT!!!!!!
But on the plus side learned how to take the dash apart, and wired the tach.

once upon a time i had a POS chevy berretta. i replaced every friggin electronic under the hood that i could replace. i did all this to try and figure out why the alternator wasnt charging the battery. it turns out that after replacing all the wiring under the hood that there is a fancy little 5 amp fuse in the fuse panel that was blown and the panel cover said alt. this was in my first year of highschool(5 years ago) i learned a life lesson. IF ITS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE, ALWAYS START WITH THE FUSES!!!!! :)
