Hello, I have a 1993 Ford Ranger 4wd, 4.0, automatic. Truck has 88,000 miles. The ranger had set for about 3 years without even being started before I got it, and has took alot of work to get it running. I have replaced fuel pump, fuel injectors, plugs and wires, cleaned maf and flushed trans.
After all that truck ran great for a couple of days. three days ago truck would start and idle fine but would stall and die when put in gear- drive or reverse. Now it doesnt want to start and soon as it gets running engine light comes on. I pulled the following codes key on, engine off: 122,157, 186, 211
I unplugged maf and swapped tps with a known good one and did not help. I am thinking maybe the ignition module on firewall next to radiator could be bad? any help would be greatly appreciated
