Plasti dip


I got mine at lowes. 5 bucks or so a can..

No primer just clean it up and go for it. Look at my link above if you want to see how to do it. Not's not hard at all.

The deck of cards trick fits inside the bead as well as if you have a lip in your wheel like I do.
 
This stuff seems to stick really well to smooth surfaces. No primer, no scuffing, just get it clean and dry. Sticks to chrome better than spray paint. You can use index cards instead of playing cards. They're probably a little cheaper...

Fine! No problem at all..I actually sprayed my lugnuts out of curousity (not the part that contacts the wheel) and they've held up fine. Even with an impact, they've held up fine.

Nice, thanks for the info! I was just thinking that if water were able to get between the plastidip and metal.... that could be bad news.
 
Yeah, I would imagine that it would. Really, the way it coats, it's like paint so I really can't see it happening.
