Hey everyone...ok I know what you guys are going to say but I'm going to ask anyways...If I lift my truck 4" and replace all the brackets and all that good stuff BUT not the pitman arm...what am I looking at steering wise? Is it even possible to do a 4" lift without getting a drop pitman?

(If I do it, none of the rods will rub) I have lifted the frame up to what it will be.

So please help...I am lifting today and really need the input whether to start or not.

why are you so resistant about the pitman arm. it is safer to use the drop pitman arm. and you will have the alignment go through easier

well I bought the guy and it came with a drop pitman arm, the rest of the parts were for my ranger so I figured that the pitman was too but when I pulled my old one off, I found out that the drop pitman was too big. The spline pattern was the same but the hole where it connects to the steering was just a little bigger than my steering component. Now I have to track one down, so I just figured I would ask if I needed it....what if I used the stock one just until I get the drop pitman?
