iam posting here due to more traffic..
so ive been busy an lifted my ole mans 93 explorer.. did a spring over conversions in the rear . that lifted it 6inches... so the front i had a 4inch lift for it an NO Pitman arm.. i added 2 washers under the coils an it through the camber a bit positive.... truck still had a 2inch rake.. so i got creative an built some 6inch ttb drop brackets.. mocked up the set i had on my truck an made it happen out of some plate.. got it all back together an added 2 more washers under the 4inch coils so now i have 4 washers.. the front sits about an inch lower than the back an thats fine.. camber seems to be on the good side.. i know i need to get it aligned.. but my question is considering i didn't put a dropped pitman arm on yet, having the steering at that angle would mess with the toe correct?
i backed it up an the steering seems really funny.. if you take it down the rd the driver tire seems likes its pointed towards the center an the truck just handles very poorly.if you turn with it the steering wheel wants to keep going . before with the 4inch brackets it had wicked bump steer.. i ordered a pitman arm last night. but was just curious if not running a dropped pitman arm would cause all this?
