Well i have a 4'' lift on the way, and i have a couple quick questions,

First off my truck is a 95 ranger splash ext cab 4x4. It has the 2 piece drive shaft, my question is, i would like to convert to a 1 piece.... i have a bad shake and i think its the common 2 piece shake? i have found one for 75$ i just need to know which ranger the axle needs to come out of Ext cab post 98 2x4 4x4? also what mods to the drive shaft do i need to complete, will i have to swap the hubs from my drive shaft to it to bolt up the one piece ETC? and am i looking for an aluminum or steel 1 piece?

Second question, i know the steering box in the ranger is used in quite a few ford pickups and such

I have the stock pitman arm on my truck, is there an f 250 or such pitman arm i could find at the J-yard to use as a drop pitman for a 4'' ranger lift, or id be willing to buy a used pitman from some one, thanks for the help guys.

You need a 1 piece shaft out of a 98-00 ranger as it will have the steel shaft in it rather than the aluminum one. The aluminum one has different sized flanges and its quite large in diameter and will cause clearance issues with the gas tank. It has to be off a 4x4 truck.

Thanks for the info i will try to find one, ill look for a 98-00 driveshaft from a 4x4 ranger, any modifications i have to do or is it a bolt on app?

Bolts right up.

Nice thanks for the info

are there any ford pitma arms that will work o nthe ranger for a 4'' lift ?

A Ranger STX with the Highrider suspension would have the largest stock drop pitman arm. It'll be a little bit short for 4" lift though, although in most cases should still be acceptable.
If not, then you'll need to get the Skyjacker "extreme" drop arm (pt# FA600), as this is the only one out there that will make a true 4" correction on the steering.
