I just tried to replace my u joint in my drivers side axle on a ttb, but the yokes were bent closer together so I couldn't get the u joint clips on, anybody else have this problem? If so how did you did it

If your talking c-clips on the outside of the yoke, the only time I've had a problem is when one of the pin bearings [can't think of right term] has fallen over, preventing the cup from bottoming out.

Needle bearing and nope I'm talking the ones on the front that the clip goes in the inside, when I press it in the bottom of the slot is showing but not the top, like the yoke is slightly bent like /\ and no matter how much I press them in they don't go in enough

Needle bearing....thanks.
I still think a needle bearing fallen over is a good possibility. If the needle is taking up space it will still make the joint too wide, regardless if the clips are on the inside or outside. Especially if you removed the old one recently.

It is very easy to bend the ears of the yoke on those axle shafts. Especially if you are pressing the joints in and out. You will know the ears are bent because when the joint seats the end of the cap will hit you in the face.

The ears are bent, I made sure the were no bearings in the bottom, adsm08 are they easy to bend back? Is it safe to put some heat into them

They bend back easy. Put it in a vise so that it is holding the caps and smack the ears back in place with a hammer till the clips fit.
