I saw this at the mall last week. Interesting that they were able to get some much lift under this thing. It was so ridiculous, I HAD to take a picture.

What exactly is a "nice" Monte SS? Those gutless pigs were the only car more "mullet" than the Camaro. Or the El Camino if we want to call it a car.

i saw one fixed up like a race car once roll bar lexan glass and all at pizza hut .. went in a 2 old women wearing racing suits was standing there

well no shit u gut the balless 305 from under the hood, but the platform the car had was sound, built one with a 383 pushin 500 hp that would move and handle its ass off for such a big car

you mean the ones parked outside the trailerpark, with the wheels that stand out farther than the fender? or the ones with an airbrushed indian/wolf mural on the hood?

you could go all day with those redneck-contrapsions, firebirds are a favorite! although i have seen a lot of mustangs like that...... ugh!

and p.s. that probably wasnt a real SS, you can get those plastic bumpers from a speed shop for about $150.... dirt racin'!

Actually being an '87 or thereabouts Monte, it should be painted black with a number 3 on it.
Tuner shop near me has a '78 Monte Carlo out front for sale (I used to have one back in the day), lifted on 20's. The funniest part is the $5200 sale price on the windshield.

well it doesn't hurt me as much to see an 80s Monte done up like that, what really hurts is seeing the older cars done like that. I saw a '69 Charger at McDonalds a couple years ago, wasn't lifted at all, but was rolling on at least 22" wheels, they weren't tastefull either...of course anymore this is a daily occurance.
