Im just trying to figure out if there is any difference in a pilot bearing for the mazda or the mitu 5 spd trans in a 90 BII. Bought a clutch kit that came with one, but didnt realize it till after we bought a new bearing. New bearing was bought as being for a Bii with the mitsu (which it has). The clutch kit was NOT trans specific. Will it cause any issuse to use the one from the clutch kit (which btw we already put in) or do we need to pull it all apart to use the trans specific one?

Should be the same.

I did a 4.0L clutch swap on my BII (2.9L with Mitsu), and the pilot bearing that was in the 4.0L clutch kit fit perfectly on the Mitsu input shaft.
