Building still looks pretty solid really, any idea when it was abandoned?

Kind of envious of the roof...
 
Dang, that has held up well. I didn't know corrugated steel roofs were that old. Probably a large reason it is in as good of shape as it is. Won't rot out so it keeps everything dry inside, sheds snow like no other so no snow load in the winter.
 
It's pretty amazing. You have to take in to account how much snow this area gets. So for that to endure that for this long is impressive.

With the steel roof and as much pitch as it has I doubt it sees much of a snow load.

It slides right off my steel roofs.
