Picture needed: 88 2.3 spark wire positions on dist

Can someone show me exactly where the #1-2-3-4 plug wires are supposed to be on an 88 engine? (I hope mine is an 88) This is a 2.3 with distributor and fuel injection.

Firing Order: 1-3-4-2

Sorry for not seeing that, I did search and even downloaded and saved that page, but missed the firing order. In fact, I have the firing order wrong. The Chilton manual I was working from implied at least, the firing order was 1-2-3-4.

I have a feeling you just solved my problem. Going home now with egg all over my face.

Yep. Plug wires in wrong. Ugh I hate being stupid.

Thanks for your help. I'm writing the plug firing order in the manual and scaning that page in so I can keep it where I can find it. It was in the Haynes (not Chilton) manual, just not where I expected it.
