Would like to get some pics of how the exhaust is and the heater box once a v8 is in. I have a 3inche body lift allready so pics with that to will help alot. Thanks guys

Here's one of the heater box. As you can see, no mods are necessary. (Unless you have one of those A/C boxes, which I do not have).

Mine is a 302. The headers were very close to the frame and I had to notch the pass. side one a little to clear it. These pics were also taken with a 3" body lift installed, which I do not have anymore.
 
Paul, what headers do you have again?? I have the 89500's, but never installed them, never even tried..

Heres mine with the 89500's.(2" BL)

This (of course) is the passenger side. Not a lot of room, but is squeaked by. The driver side has a lot more room(like above post).

My notching was a little extreme, but it still works(fairly well).
 
The problem with the GT 40 "P" heads is that you are limited to what headers will work with it due to the spark plug being angled, requires regular headers to be modified...GT 40 heads work with regular headers...
