Pics of my 95 Ranger Sittin on 38s

It's a good looking truck, I will give you that.

Constructive critiscism: From what I can tell, you are running all block in the rear with stock leaves (I pray your not running stacked blocks). You should consider swapping to an aftermarket leaf pack for lift and better off road ability, or do the chevy 63 swap.

I can see how you manage not to tear your front fenders up going down the street, you have stock radius arms. I would highly suggest extended radius arms.

You are still running the stock 2 piece drive shaft, a one piece swap from a 98+ would greatly benefit you from the standpoint of drivetrain reliability.

You need to go lower than 4.10's if you plan on driving that truck daily on the street. What you may have to spend in money now will greatly benefit you in the long run. At least 4.88's to put you back into the realm of grabbing 5th gear. Deeper would be better.

How do you lock in the front axle?

Take the advice or leave it, your choice, but we are just giving you tips to help you and the truck perform as best as possible. Read through the tech library, there is a ton of great information in there that will benefit your off road fun.

Nice.. B4 I start locking the Hubs in 4x4 I Will be Swaping to 4.10 Gears..

Huh?

With the center caps on your front wheels, I don't understand how you get to your hubs.

I have had 5 Lifted Trucks (3 Rangers 1 BII, n 1 3/4 Ton Chevy)
I know about the Gears.. N Thank you.. I only Changed the Gears
in the Chevy Cause I had 44s on it.. All my Rangers had Stock
Gears 4.0 with 35s n 3.27s, a 2.9 with 33s 3.08, n 2.3 with 35s,
n a 4.0 with 36s n 3.73s.. Stock gears are fine with me..
Also all the Rangers/B2s had over 125,000 miles n auto trans..

Enough name-calling. Either come up with legitimate criticism or don't post anything at all.

Criticism,
Needs way more gear, needs smaller tires, needs to be able to access hubs
I.E. 35s with 4.56s for some sane power and to keep from snapping outers.

Looks good but unsure of functionallity. ESP off pavement.

This just keeps getting better and better. Auto hubs will not live more than a few seconds on 38s. They are nothing but shit even on a stock RBV.

If you have a 3.0 and 3.45s, you have a D35-D28 hybrid, 3.45 gears were not made for the D35.

I agree you need 5.13s, 4.10s will not be worth the time and money.

So the D35 Hybrid uses 7.5 Gears???? Not a 8.8 Gears???

I would love to Dump some 4.88s or even 5.13s in.. I already have
Front n Rear 4.10s Set up.. Jus have to be put into the Axles..

The D35 is your front diff, the 7.5 and 8.8 are your rear. Hopefully, your front and rear have the same gears.

No, it's a D35 in every way except the housing is modified to take D28 gears and the inner shafts are necked down to be compatible with the D28 gear set.

would you be able to get more pics of the front end and turning at all? do you rub? i have 33s and 3.73 gears and its dog! i hate it im ordering the 4.56 this week. but im really interested in more pics of the truck

If your front diffrential is smooth with no ribs, it's a D35 housing with D28 guts = Hybrid. Don't waste the $$$ swapping in 4.10's, do 5.13's trust us. We've done it before, learn from our mistakes, lol.

Im running 37s with 5.13s and want more. I dont know how that truck moves with your current gears. When I ran 33s with 3.73s it was horrible. If I could have found 5.38s for an 8.8 thats what id be running.
