Its a 94 ranger 3.0 extended cab 4x4 with the 5 speed. 3.73 gears
Got a really good deal on it...... 250 Bucks:headbang::headbang::headbang:

The truck has all new brakes all the way around, new shocks, clutch is 6 months old

Now the bad- Needs a pass side rear window by the ext cab ( you will see in the pics) needs a drivers taillight but i planned on going aftermarket anyway, and a 5 speed trans. Story on that, the guy put the new clutch in and the guy never put new oil in the trans and it melted the first and second gears together

This is my first 4x4. Comes with a extra bed to replace the one that's on the truck. No rust but a dent in the side....

Anybody have parts cheap?

Comments appreciated

thanks 93 splash. Guess if i sell my white truck i will have to make a new account

good score......

Nice find!
I bet with a good buffing, the faded paint would look pretty good.
And, I don't really have any parts.

thanks guys. This is my first 4x4 so it should be fun. The truck has warn hubs in the front. Not afraid of a project lol.

Now i just need to find that window (jy), prob get a set of aftermarket tails, and find a trans. I read somewhere that the 3.0 and the 4.0 trans the bell housing is diff. Is there any trans i can use besides the 3.0 4x4 trans. Thanks guys there will be more questions to come.

Oh btw how can i tell if i have the d35 front or the hybrid d35/d28

thanks 93splash

I think there is something about how to tell the difference between the hybrid, and the real D35, in the Tech library somewhere.

As for the tranny, the only trannies that will fit are from 3.0L's. the 2.3 have their own bell housing, 3.0L's have thier own, but the 2.8, 2.9, and 4.0L all 3 have the same.
It would have been SOOO much easier if Ford just used one bellhousing...

The D35 hybrid has a smooth housing and the real D35 has a ribbed housing if I read the tech article correctly.

the guy i bought my truck off of is restoring that capri this summer. cant safe it if its already being saved.

i get the truck on Saturday and ill post more pictures when the time comes.

thanks for the nice responses so far
